Light Weight Alloy is one of the several natural blocks which you can utilize for your construction projects.
Usage
Light Weight Alloy blocks are one of 7 basic block types in From The Depths. Alloy is much lighter than wood, it is commonly used for increasing floatation ability for larger ships, creating supersonic jets that would be slowed down by using wood, and as armor for vehicles that are not bouyant enough to use metal.
Use in the Campaign
The Onyx Watch use alloy to make the castle ships float. The White Flayers use it as an in-hull floatation supplement, but only sparingly. The Twin Guard, Lightning Hoods, and Scarlet Dawn use mostly alloy in all of their vehicles. The Steel Striders use alloy sparingly, instead defaulting to plain metal and wood in certain cases. The Grey Talons use alloy sparingly as well, instead using massive turbines and wings to stay in the air.
